Aomori Nebuta Festival is the biggest fire festival in Japan. Nebuta floats are huge paper dolls(5m high, 9m width, 7m depth) and beautiful objects of light. All the Nebuta floats are on the weels and lots of people pull them. And Nebuta are swung left, right and all around. The crowd applaud whenever the Nebuta faces them directly.
Nebuta are paraded along the main streets near Aomori Station every night of the festival.
