Kochi Ryoma airport
Kochi Ryoma airport's name has changed. It was just the kochi airport. I heard there was a lots of objections by residents of kochi some years ago. People said that changing its name needed lots of money. Most people said that it was a waste of money! However I like the new name....

Propeller plane
These days commercial flights between Kochi to Osaka has changed from jet airplane to propeller planes. When the first jet airplane was in service between Kochi and Osaka, a frontpage headline said 'Long green onions flew!'. Long green onions are one of the main farm products in Kochi. I saw the headline when I was a child. But I still remember the headline because I was so suprised at its meaning!
