left:
We cleaned our office on the last working day in December. Most Japanese do, year-end cleaning.

center:
There was too much snow on the sidewalk in front of our office. It looked like it would be too hard to drive the cars out.

right:
Snow on the roof of the entrance. I was always afraid of falling snow. Please let the snow be cleared off the roof!

2005/12/30
There was a car space next to our apartment and it was 60cm deep in snow. One day, I found a KAMAKURA(traditional snow dome) there. It was the first time to see a real KAMAKURA! It was not so big, I thought it was for kids and just one person could fit inside. If I cooled cans of beer in the snow inside the KAMAKURA, it must be delicious!

2005/12/31
We went to a local ski area, which was a 20-minute drive from the city center. It wasn't a modern ski resort but it looked like it was loved by the locals. We went skiing for the first time in half a year.
