Taaffes pub
Shop street,Galway
I went to Taaffes, which was recommended in my guidebook. The sign said, "There is live music every night.". When I entered the pub that I also couln't see inside, there were 3 or 4 people. Although all of the people inside were eating something, I asked a barman if I could have lunch now. He answered, "Today is just soup & bread.", so I ordered them as well as one paint of Guinness! Ordering was simple. The pub had a relaxed atmosphere and it was more spacious than I had thought from outside. The Guinness tasted wonderful and the pub was not too big, not to small, it was a cosy size. I thought that it was the comfortable pub. This pub is well worth a visit!!

Tigh Coli
Mainguard Street,Galway
I went in a pub, but I couldn't read the name on the sign... There was one young barman who had a shaven-head inside the counter. He was wearing a black T-shirt with short sleeve and looked at me without any expression. There was an embarrassed silence between us... It was about 2/3 full of middleaged men and they gave me a curious look. It was tense moment! That made me so nervous. I walked to the counter while wondering about their jobs because they were all drinking at lunchtime. When I ordered Guinness, they looked away from me. I breathed a little easier.
right:a fiddle-shaped table! I heard that it was very popular with nightly live music.
