Mc SWIGGAN'S
Eyre Street,Woodquay,Galway
I went to the town to have lunch although it was Sunday. I entered Mc SWIGGAN'S because it had a sigh saying "Sunday brunch". The people were anxiously watching a live TV soccur game. I sat down at the edge of counter trying to be inconspicuous and I asked for an Irish Breaskfast. The Irish breakfast was a meal combo and it had a cup of coffee. But I had to drink Guinness!! After I left there, I was full with a mountain of Irish Breakfast, a cup of coffee and one pint of Guinness.
Barr an Chaladh
Daly's Place,Galway
Today's choice of pub was Barr an Chaladh, it was near the pub that I went to yesterday. My hostfamily recommended the pub as a local favorite. I expected a lot of the pub!! But it took long time to find it because the signboard of the pub wasn't easy to see. When I finally found the pub, I was really thirsty. There were 5 police officers and they all had sandwich and orange juce. They were on duty so they all didn't drink. I ate soup & sandwich and Guinness. The Guinness tasted gleat. The foam on the beer was creamy and it was the perfect temperature to drink. And in addition it was less expensive than other pubs.
Imperial Hotel/Bar
I entered a pub inside the Imperial Hotel. It was spasious and there was a counter in the center. There were lots of chairs round about it. I ordered Guinness for a starter and I sat down. But it was very noisy because the hotel seemed to be under interior finishing work on upper floor. And it made me feel frustrated. I drank up and went out in a hurry!
