Winery orchards at Napier
On my last visit to New Zealand, it was in winter. So the grape trees didn't have any green leaves and there were just lots of stems and a trunk... This time, I could see a beautiful view of very green vineyards.

Wine grapes were still quite small and green.

HATTON ESTATE
The third one. He gave me over 6 different samples and I got totally drunk. Great wine makes me feel so good! When I'm drunk, I feel broad minded. It's easy to talk in English. Of course it doesn't mean that I become a good English speaker..., just talkative!

MISSION ESTATE WINERY since 1851
Is one of the oldest and largest wineries in New Zealand. It is located on Church Road close to Napier. The building looked nice and there were lots of award winning wines. But I felt woozy with wine!

He was a tour guide and driver. The wineries were very good and best of all the guide was great! He was a cheerful person who laughed all the time. His English was very clear and it was easy to understand what he said to me. And he knew a few Japanese words for food like "Kabochya(means pumpkin)", "Wa-gyu(means Japanese produced beef)"...etc. I taught him a new word, "Hituji(means sheep)". I hope that it might be useful to him oneday.... The best day I had in Napier was the wine tasting day with him!
