Burnt Spur
This winery mainly makes Pinot Noir. I heard that they had gotten a gold prize of the Air New Zealand Wine Awards before, which is the largest scale wine competition in New Zealand. It is held each year and more than 1700 wines entered in it this year.

Alana Estate
I heard that this is one of the leading wineries in the region. The winery, which also had a nice restaurant, was crowded with people.

I had a nice lunch there.

Te Kairanga Wines
Is one of the largest wineries in the region. There were lots of awards on the wall!

Ata Rangi Vineyard
They produce about over 10000 cases and almost half is exported to other countries. The building made of wood was pretty cute.

Schubert Wines
The last winery, this was the 7th. I became increasingly worried about tomorrow's hungover.... By the end of the day, around 4p.m., I visited 7 wineries and I felt I was full of myself. So I forgot to take a picture of the appearance of this building. I can't believe I messed up!
By the way, I heard of a terrible story. About 10 days ago, the Interislander Ferry, which connects between Wellington and Picton, took 11 hours to get to Picton due to bad weather. It usually connects Wellington to Picton in three and a half hours! What a shame!! I really hoped that the strong winds and the rain would stop in the next day or so.
