Beachline
The small cape in the distance was Cape Kidnappers, which was located 30km south of Napier city center. I heard that that was a popular nesting place for the bird, Gannet. It is a popular tourist destination. "Gannet", it was a bird I hadn't heard of before. So I looked up the word in a dictionary but I wasn't exactly sure what a Gannet was. What's the difference between a Gannet and Seagull? Lots of birds flew over the sandy beach...I wondered what kind of bird they were?

There were lots of people who walked on the path along the beach and layed on the sandy beach. Too much suntan is bad for the skin! I never want to get a suntan in New Zealand. Because the amount of ultraviolet rays is about 7 times more than Japan. Even on overcast days you have to keep your guard up and protect your self!
Signboards & statue

Bone Health Checks...what did they provide? Just a bone density test???
center:
Signboard provided in English and Japanese. I guess there were lots of tourists from Asia. But, I hadn't met many Asians.

I visited the Napier Museum. There were lots of exhibits from the 1931 earthquake and other interesting exhibits. And there was a strange statue on the roof of the museum. He had something like an ice-cream cone in his hand and he was looking away. I am still curious! I should have asked more about it!
Subway
Subway was everywhere around the world. Everywhere I went, there it was! They tasted exactly the same.
Irish pub
I found a good Irish pub when I was walking around town. It had been a while since I had Guinness abroad. Guinness is the only beer for me!
Thai restaurant
Singha beer and Phat thai(fried Thai noodles) for dinner. I really love spicy foods like Thai, Indian and Korean. But I orderd Phat thai, which was not so spicy. Because I worried that I would have diarrhea.... My stomack frequently gives me trouble, especially during my trips! By the way, Phat thai was a big-portion and it looked like a mountain of noodle. It is too much for Japanese!
