"Wellcome to Hobbiton", a sign post at a Hobbit village
We drove down from the hill and I finally came all the way here, Hobbiton! Hobbiton was the place that I'd been wanting the most to visit.
Hobbit holes around the hill
This is the view towards the Hobbit's houses from the Party Tree, here the Party Tree was behind me and the pond was to my left. The actual movie set was no longer there, however there were still lots of Hobbit holes and some structures still present from the film set. (More Images...)

A hole on the top left corner of the hill is Bag End, Bilbo and Frodo's house.

The big tree by the pond is Bilbo's Party Tree. The Bilbo's birthday party was held in the open space in front of the tree. (More Images...)
Bilbo's Party Tree
If you are a big fan of the Lord of the Rings, you will recognize this well-known big tree as the Party Tree. This tree was featured in Bilbo's birthday party scenes in the first movie. This tree is one of the main reasons why this sheep farm was selected as a location for Hobbiton. (More Images...)
The guide gave us lots of the interesting information about how the site had been selected as Hobbiton, how the sheep farm had been transformed into Hobbiton etc....
Very small pieces of confetti from the birthday party still stuck to the tree branches. It was amazing that after nearly 6 years they were still in the tree!
Dance under Bilbo's Party Tree
There was a celebration of Bilbo's 111th birthday right here and this field was used for the dancing scenes. We were dancing under the huge tree like Hobbits in the party! (More Images...)
Each of us took pictures of Hobbiton in our own way.
