White wake of the ferry in Marlborough Sounds. The Marlborough Sounds has 1500km's of coastline and there were lots of tourist attractions, dolphin watching, fishing and sea kayaking...etc.

We passed another ferry of Interislander in Marlborough Sounds.

We were approaching Picton. The weather looked good, unlike the weather in Wellington, so I thought that there would be much hope for a nice stay.

About three and a half hours after, we arrived at Picton Harbor. It was a small and peaceful harbor. The town of Picton between the harbor and the mountain also looked quite small, as you can see.

Terminal building and a baggage turntable
It was filled with passengers waiting for their baggage, just like the airport.

Picton ferry terminal building and the entrance
There were many car rental agencies outside the building and many passangers got into their cars. If I was a good driver, I would travel around the country by car. I am a sunday driver so I have to practice a lot in Japan first!
