Hostel Alex 30
After saying goodbye to my friend at the Stuttgart train station, she moved to Mainz, which is the city near Frankfurt International Airport. She was going to go back to Japan on the following day. Meanwhile, I checked-in at Hostel Alex 30 in Stuttgart. I was going to travel around Germany for 17 more days!

Hostel Alex 30 is a modern budget hostel.I recommend the hostel to people looking for reasonably priced accommodation. The only fault of the hostel is that there isn't an elevator available.

"The Koenigsstrasse (King's Street) is only about 1 km away from Hostel Alex 30." The information wasn't mistaken but it was a big challenge for me to walk around in the hot summer sun!

I heard that there were lots of attractive tourist spots in the heart of Stuttgart. However I left the city center early because of the heat!

I found a nice-looking beer garden on the way to my accommodation. It was covered with the lush greenery of the trees and it made a comfortable environment. In addition, there was a big screen for viewing the World Cup soccer game. On that day, it was on June 29, Japan played in Round 16 against Paraguay. Unfortunately, it seemed that the game between Japan and Paraguay wasn't attractive to locals and there were lots of empty seats!

As time goes by, the number of people in the beer garden increased and luckly(?), the moment Japan lost the game, there were many locals in the beer garden....

A packed Sushi box was my dinner and it was a special menu during the 2010 World Cup soccer tournament. The competition was over for Japan. It left me a curiously empty feeling....
