Ulm to Prien am Chiemsee
My first destination in the last half of my 25-day trip was Prien an Chiemsee.
Prien am Chiemsee (Prien on the lake Chiemsee) is situated on the western shore of the Chiemsee lake. It is well known for its variety of leisure activities and beautiful King Ludwigs palace on Herrinchiemsee(an island in Lake Chiemsee).

I left Ulm at 8:30 am and it took me about 3 hours to get to the DB Prien an Chiemsee station.

The DB Prien an Chiemsee station is 1.5km away from the shore of the lake and it is a 30 minutes walk. If you don't want a long walk to the shore, you can take a Chiemsee-Bahn, which is a 19th century steam-train. The Chiemsee-Bahn station is across the train tracks from the DB station.

Yachthotel Chiemsee
I stayed at a hotel "Yachthotel Chiemsee" which is located on the shore of the lake. It was the most expensive accommodation during my trip.
Prien am Chiemsee is a famous tourist spot near Munich and it seems that it's hard to book a hotel room during the high season. Yachthotel Chiemsee was the only hotel with rooms available!

The hotel is surrounded by greenery and there is a yacht harbor right next to the hotel. The hotel is set in a good location.

The room is clean and spacious and it has an especially nice bathroom and comfortable beds. As may be expected of its expensive accommodation fee, the facilities was almost perfect to a person who usually stay at a budget accommodation, like me.

The room I stayed in had a balcony but unfortunately, my room faced toward the forest and there wasn't a beautiful view overlooking the lake.
