After a 2-hour walk from Riffelalp, I arrived at Sunnegga Paradise!
There is a lake(Leisee) which is well-known for its lovely reflection of the Matterhorn in the lake. Of course, it's true only as long as you are lucky enough to have good weather conditions.
There is a good restaurant next to Sunnegga Paradise funicular station. I definitely recommend drinking with the Matterhorn right in front of you!
This was the best beer I'd have ever drunk in Switzerland.
If you still have energy, continue on and follow the signs to Zermatt. If not, you can ride Sunnegga Paradise funicular, which takes you to Zermatt in only a couple of minutes. Of course I headed to Zermatt on foot.
The first part of the trail was a steep downhill slope. Before long, I reached Findeln which is a group of hamlets above Zermatt. There were several traditional buildings and it was perfect for a picture with a backdrop of the majestic Matterhorn.
The walk from Sunnegga to the edge of Findeln, you can enjoy the wonderful views of the Matterhorn and see the variety of the alpine flowers.
Just for your information, along the second part of the trail(from the edge of Findeln to Zermatt) was a zig-zag path down through a shady forest and it might be a bit boring.
After about 90 minutes, finally I arrived at Zermatt.
