Today's first exercise was a two-hour hike from Muottas Muragl funicular station to Alp Languard.
There were two major hiking trails between Muottas Muragl(2453m) and Alp Languard (2330m) and I chose the easier one.

The easier one is called "Muottas Muragl Panorama Trail" and its length is about 7km. The trail leads towards a mountain stream and then it stretchs around the mountain(Schafberg) to the chairlift station at the top of Alp Languard.

There was a signboard at the stream crossing.
When you want the easier panoramic trail, turn right at the signboard and follow a mostly flat path. If you want to try more challenging trail, turn left and follow a steep zigzag path toward the mountain peak.
The more challenging route runs via the Segantini hut(2731m), which is located near the mountain peak and it is the last home of the famous Swiss painter Giovanni Seganitni.

I crossed the mountain stream and took the trail which continued up the opposite side of the valley.

As I followed the panoramic trail round the mountain, the wonderful scenery of Engadin came into sight!

About an hour's walk brought me to the end of the scenic flat path and from there the trail to Alp Languard became a narrow mountain path between pine trees.

My goal, the top chairlift station at Alp Languard is located above Pontresina. It was farther than I expected....

I finally arrived at the top chairlift station at Alp Languard!!
The chairlift takes you to the center of Pontresina in just a few short minutes.
"How wonderful! It's very useful!"

I was so hungry I felt faint!
I rushed into a restaurant near Pontresina train station and I ate pasta for lunch. Two and a half hours of exhausting hiking and all I got for my effort was a small pasta for which I had pay 22CHF (2300 yen)! It was like a kind of penalty game or something for me....
