I jumped into tha train at Alp Grum and I headed for St.Moritz.
As you can see in this train map, some stations with a filled circle require you to press the "stop button" to stop. When traveling in this section, never forget that.
Since I had some energy left after hiking between Ospizio Bernina and Alp Grum, I got off at Pontresina and I started to hike toward St.Moritz.
After walking for one hour along the trail through the woods. I came to the edge of small pong "Lake of Staz(Lej da Staz)". There were lots of people who were enjoying the sun, lakeside picnics and swiming.
It was already past lunchtime and I finally got lunch at the restaurant built on the lakeside. I ate a special salad of locally made ham and cheese, and other toppings. It was delicious but the price was really high, 29 euros!! It was a kind of reward for me for walking a good deal however it was my first time eating such an expensive salad!
I made the point before, that the cost of eating out is quite high in Switzerland. I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart....
I walked along the well-kept trail for about 30 minutes from Lake of Staz, and soon came to Lake St.Moritz.
