Friedrichsbad
Go down the alley, in front of our hotel, there is Friedrichsbad. Friedrichsbad is one of the oldest and biggest spas in Baden-Baden.
I had been a little hesitant of going inside because of the mixed nude bathing and I hadn't tried it during my 2008's trip either. This time, I wasn't alone, so I had the courage to try it out. But, unfortunatly(or...fortunately?), it was closed during our stay because of its renovation!

Caracalla Therme
As a result, we went to Caracalla Therme, which is one of the two famous spas in Baden-Baden. It was my second visit to the spa. Caracalla Therme lookes more modern than Friedichsbad and a swimsuit is required, unlike at Friedichsbad.
There are a large variety of bathing pools and outdoor pools with different temperatures. It is a good place to enjoy a German hot spring with an easy mind. But, in Japanese sense, Caracalla Therme is like an amusement facility more than a hot spring.

A view from Caracalla Therme.
A tower in the center picture was just next to our hotel. As you can see, our accommodation was very close to Caracalla Therme too.
The picture on the right, I took during winter when I visited in 2008.

A great way to relax after sightseeing in the town was to take a bath in the hot spring. In addition, there was nothing like a cold beer after taking a hot spring bath!

At night, fireworks filled the sky! We were in luck!
