As I had described previously, the town center of Berchtesgaden is located on the hill, overlooking the station. Walking up on the sidewalk along the main road is a common route from the station to the town center. It takes about 20 minutes and it isn't an easy way.

However, if you look at a Google Map carefully, you will find a short-cut. I tried it with a map in hand.

The short-cut is a graveled steep path so it isn't a short-cut for people who are carrying a suitcase at all.
After all, as I had said, the best way to get to the town center from the station is to take a taxi!

Once again, I went out for dinner to a Chinese restaurant. I ordered another mountain of food which I had eaten before. It was a mountain of fried rice!
