"After having a meal, now time for hike!"
Another reason that Kulmbach is pupular with tourists is Plassenburg. Plassenburg is one of the most impressive castles in Germany and it is a symbol of the Kulmbach. As you can see on the photo, it is standing on top of the hill overlooking the town!

"Now for hiking!"...but I changed my mind and I got in a taxi. It was too hot!

There is a spacious courtyard and huge buildings surround it. You can enter into the courtyard at no admission fee.
The castle still has a medieval atmosphere and I really liked it.

There are two museums in the castle. One is the Zinn Figuren Museum(Tin Figure Museum).

I was fully overwhelmed by the amount of figures! There are over 300,000 characters and 220 dioramas which portray the history of mankind. It is the largest tin miniature figures museum in the world!

To my delight, the castle has a beer restaurant and there is a wonderful beer garden too!!

I walked on my way back to the town center. It was a 15 minutes walk.

If you take the shortest way between the castle and the town center, you can't take a good picture of the castle. I recommend you take the long way around if you want to take a picturesque photo of the castle.

Mounds of Kulmbach's beer cases!! You can see them near the station!

When I was back in Bamberg, I headed directly to the Schlenkerla and I enjoyed Bamberg's beer....It was difficult to say which beer was better!
By the way, my dinner was a packed Sushi box, once again....
