It was the first time for me to visit to Christchurch for a year and a half. But I was there for only half a day at that time so I was still near just a biginner.

Christchurch and Cantebury Visitor Center in Cathedral Square
The visitor center was conveniently situated for tourists. The center is located in the South Western corner of Cathedral Square.
left: Cathedral Square market. I wasn't expecting to go to this market but it was very nice. Well worth a look if you have time!
right: The tram had a 2.5km track and it took about 25-minutes to go round. It was decorated with the All Black's flags.

The Cathedral
There was a funny statue in front of the cathedral. I actually wanted to take its picture from underneath. But I couldn't do it for shame!

Chess
One nice sunny day, I watched these guys playing a giant style chess game in Cathedral Square. They were surrounded by onlookers.
