Hagley Park
Hagley park is a large public park in the heart of Christchurch. It is separated into North Hagley Park and South Hagley Park by Riccarton Ave. They are both places where people can relax. I saw things there I've never seen in Japan. There were lots of children's teams playing rugby matches. In Japan it would be an uncommon sight. I saw some parents and children doing passing practice. It was a typical New Zealand scene....?

Christchurch Botanic Gardens
The botanical gardens contained a collection of beautiful flowers and trees from around the world. If you went there during the floral season, you would enjoy the rose garden.
