On the road to downtown from the lodge
I walked down the slope with the view of the beautiful lake every day. In the morning the sidewalk absolutely froze up and it was so dangerous. I was usually afraid that I might slipe out onto the road!

There was a road lined with the ginkgo trees along the lake. You can walk along the lake to the town center of Queenstown. It was nice to feel the cool breeze from the lake.

Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown and Queenstown YHA
Lakeside accommodations. Queenstown YHA is at the bottom of the slope. And Queenstown YHA is the last accommodation on the flat road which you can walk to from the town center.

On the way back to the lodge was a long upslope....about a 30-minute walk.
left, center, right: A slope near Queenstown YHA. Up the slope and pass The Ridges Lake Resort Hotel and soon you can see The Queenstown Lodge.
