Switzerland/top

There are several popular hiking trails at Gornergrat.

The top of the mountain was covered with a heavy covering of snow. The most popular hiking trail from the summit started from the side of the station building and it was also covered with knee-deep snow!
The trail looked very different from the last time and it was very different from what I'd imagined.
Some people, needless to say they were non-Japanese, shoved through nearly knee-deep snow but I didn't have the nerve....
I think that hiking through a heavy covering of snow is dangerous for a beginner hiker, like me. As always, overseas people have a lot of guts.
