Moi Moi Tour
Moi Moi Tour was a aurora hunting tour, which was operated by a Japanese company. About 20 people joined the tour and we headed for a good place to see the northern lights by bus. A tour conductor took us to the best seeing place where we could look at the northern lights.
We were all Japanese. I heard that tourists who came all the way to Finland for seeing the northern lights were only Japanese.

After an hour drive from downtown, we arrived at our destination. There was only a house and a guest cottage, and it was almost as dark as midnight. In the cottage, there was a fireplace and we warmed ourselves at the stove while drinking something hot.

We were served delicious hot tea and food. Above all, I really liked the roasted Makkara(Sausage). There were wooden sticks on the table and we used it to roast Makkara over the fire by ourselves. It took more time to roast a Makkara over the fire than I thought. I wasn't patient so my Makkara was half-baked....

Our host, who was Saami, cooked crapes over the open fire. We also enjoyed fresh backed crapes with berry sauce.
