Finland to Japan

I didn't know what to do with my time after dark every night. The night was very long and I couldn't understand Finnish TV programs at all. So, I bought two Japanese comics translated into English and Sudoku, a kind of logic-based placement puzzle, to kill time. The comics were very interesting but the buzzle made me more bored. Because I had a short temper...I didn't like this kind of puzzle!

Cartoons

I saw the Japanese animation "Pokemon" again in another foreign country. It was surprising to me because I always saw "Pokemon" everywhere I visited.

Animation which had a magical charm and a strange atmosphere. It looked a bit like a picture-card show!

Because there was a fridge and an electric pot in my room, I could prepare a simple meal for breakfast, like this. I always ate out for lunch and dinner during my trip and I was tired of eating out. So these ligth meals gave my stomach a chance to take a rest.

I had a chance to see fireworks again here, I was in luck!

Christmas market in the town center
A main shopping street was not far from my accommodation. An annual Christmas market was held on the main street and it was crowded. In the evening, each stall was lit up and the street created a joyful atmosphere. Each stall sold many kinds of Christmas items and I browsed through them to find a good deal. But I couldn't buy any Christmas items there. Because I would go back to Japan the day before Christmas, so I thought that it would be too late for this year's Christmas!
