Finland to Japan

The thermometer indicated -5 degrees. The temperature was below zero degrees all day. I was raelly tired from walking in the cold from early morning.

There was an ice skating rink in the heart of the city. It looked convenient to enjoy skating. How fun!

Unlike buildings in Japan, Finnish buildings had lots of decorations on the walls and they looked like massive architectures.

Familiar looking shops also looked a bit different.

There were lots of colorful apartment buildings and they offered an exotic atmosphere. I just felt like I wandered into another world. It was interesting to just take a stroll in the city.

The tram network was useful for transportation in Helsinki and there were more than 10 tram lines in operation. I thought it was the best way to explore the city for tourists. Just for your information...if you lost your way in Helsinki, you can probably get back to downtown by following the tarm rails.
