The Lutheran Cathedral
Was located just in the center of the city. It was the best known tourist attraction in Helsinki. The cathedral was a white church witha bule roof and it was very beautiful.

You can see inside of the cathedral, it was free! The view of the cathedral from outside was fancy. However the interior of the building was simpler than I thought.
Senate Square
The square in front of the church was the Senate square and there was a statue in the middle of it. It was a popular place where people could relax. But it was almost empty when I visited there. It was too cold....
Market Square Was a popular market place facing the harbor. I heard that there were lots of stalls in summer and it was crowded with locals and tourists.
Helsinki was the city facing the Gulf of Finland and a harbor was next to downtown. There were huge passenger ferries, which were ferry connections between Finland and other countries, like Stockholm and Tallin.
Ferry to the Suomenlinna island
Suomelinna was a fortress built on a small island in 1748 and it was one of the Unesco World Heritage sites. It was built to protect Helsinki from other countries. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit the island.
President's residence
It was a beautiful white building right next to the harbor and it looked like a common building. I was surprised that there was a busy street in front of the building and it didn't look like it was heavily guarded!
