Helsinki
I arrived at Helsinki Vantaan Airport and I moved to Helsinki Railway Station. There was a Finnair City Bus connection between the airport and the city center. The station was located in the heart of Helsinki City.

I would take a train from Helsinki to Mikkeli and I would stay there for 4 days. I bought a train ticket but there was more than 3 hours before the departure time. So I stored my suitcase in a luggage locker in the station and I went out of the building to kill time.

I had left my guidebook in my suitcase so I didn't have any information about Helsinki. I had no idea of what to do...I just took a stroll along the street. Buildings were unique in appearance and a view of the city was quite different from the cities in Japan. The city had all the appearance of European countries. I should have known more about the main attractions of the city before.

I walked around the city and did some window shopping for a while and then I saw lots of red stalls in a park. It was a huge Christmas Market!
