Euro Hostel
I stayed in a female shared room for 2 nights. The staff at the reception desk was very polite and friendly. Nice place to stay. Not so near downtown, but with easy access via tram. As you can see, it was a very plain room. Shared showers and toilet facilities were on the hallway on each floor. However, it cost 21 euro per person per night and the price seemed more reasonable than other hotels in Helsinki.

I ate sandwiches for dinner, which I had cooked at Hekkinen's house. It had been a while since I had dinner without beer. It was for the first time in 15 days!

The hostel was a 6 story building and it was quite big for accommodation.

View from my room. The hostel was located in an apartment area and it was very quite at night.

The hostel was right next to the Tram's stop and it was very easy to get to the city center. If you want to walk, you can follow the rail to get there. It was about a 25-minute walk to the station from the hostel. And it was 5 minutes from the ferry terminal.

Eye catching sign
I got off a tram at the railway station and I took a stroll along the streets. A huge sign was outside a department store and it easily came into notice. A young lady in a white dress with a crown and candles. I heard that it was one of the traditional events in the Christmas season. However her appearance had a strong impact for me and I was really surprised.
