Finland to Japan

I went to the old market again and I had lunch at a small restaurant. I ordered a reindeer open sandwich! It was a very simple sandwich and I enjoyed a unique flavor of reindeer. I sure could get used to it.

You can find a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, meat and Finnish local specialties.

There were different types of pickled cut fish, which was probably herring. They were very colorful, white, red, yellow and pink, etc.... But I couldn't imagine what kinds of seasonings were used. It seems that the Finnish really like pickled fish.

Above all, there was a wide range of meat products that I had never seen in Japan. Usual meat products sold in Japan were beef, pork and chicken. Sometimes I see horse meat but it 's really rare.
These meats at the market were unusual in color and unlike meat I had ever seen before.

I saw unfamiliar animals on the price tag!

Reindeer, Moose and Beer!
Price tags were written in several languages. Karhu, Bear, Oso, Orso and Ours...what languages are they?
