Thai Restaurant 'Tham Nak Thai'
I found a nice Thai restaurant near O'connells Shopping Center. The staff were very friendly!

The portions in Asian restaurants were easy on my stomach.
left: Thai fried noodles & a glass of beer.
center: Thai fried rice & a glass of beer!
right: Thai chicken noodles with soup & a glass of beer!! This was my favorite one in Queenstown. I don't think that I could eat such delicious noodle in a Thai restaurant in Aomori....

Japanese Restaurant 'Ren-Ka'
A lunch meal combo, a bowl of rice topped with sliced raw salmon, rolled egg and salad greens, and Miso soup. If my memory is correct, it cost NZ$10. It was a great price.
