Heidelberg
After three and a half hours trip, I arrived at Heidelberg station. It was also terrible cold as well as Munich.
Heidelberg Railway Station was located in the western part of the city and it was about 25-minute walk from the old town. Most tourist attractions were in the old town and there were nothing to see around the station.
Hotel Kohler
My accomodation was near the old town and I got a taxi in front of the station. It was my first time to ride a Mercedes-Benz taxi!
Hotel Kohler was a cute pale green building and it was located along the quiet street.
By the way, I was always amazed by German parallel parking ability! I wondered how to park car parallely and I can't imagine how to take a car out ot the space.... I'm sure it was absolutely impossible for me to do it!
Hotel Kohler wasn't near the railway station but it was a short walk to a tram stop and it was a convenient spot. This hotel wasn't so big, I'd made a reservation in advance from Japan. Atmosphere was calm and everywhere was kept tidy and the receptionists were always very friendly. I highly recommend it to you.
My room
Private bath is unavailable but basin is available in the room and it was very convenient. The room rate includes breakfast and tax was about 48 euro per night.

Dining room for breakfast
