Baden-Baden to Wuerzburg
I changed trains at the Frankfurt Hauptbanhof(main station). It is the largest train station in Germany by number of platforms and railway traffic.

Wuerzburg
Wuerzburg is the northernmost city on the German Romantic Road. The Romantic Road runs from Wuerzburg from the north to Fuessen in the south. There are plenty of tourist attractions along the road.
Germany is full of themed roads, Romantic Road, Castle Road, Goethe Road, Grimm Brothers Road, etc. However there is no more famous than the Romantic Road!
I arrived at Wuerzburg station early afternoon. There were frequent IEC(InterCityExpress) and IC(InterCity) connections to major cities such as Frankfurt, Nuremberg and Munich. Wuerzburg location is very convenient.

The main station is at the southern end of the city and I had to walk from the station to my hotel. It was about a 20-minute walk and it was hard to walk with my suitcase on the stone-paved street.
center, right: Wuerzburg is the center of Germany's Franken wine growing region and it is famous for its delicious white wine and historical buildings. You can see a vast vineyard on the side of a hill. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the green of the vineyard. It was the wrong time of the year for visiting there.

Hotel Zum Winzermaennle
Is in the heart of the city and it is small and cute hotel with a pink color wall.

center: I saw Japanese instruction written on the front door. It said "PULL". Wuerzburg is popular for Japanese tourists.
right: The room was not spacious but it was clean and tidy and staff were very friendly.

My hotel is located along the main shopping street and it is a good location for tourists. However, I felt slightly uneasy. Because there is a big church near my hotel and my room is in the 4th floor almost same level and facing the bell tower! ...As I have been afraid, I don't need to set my alarm clock once again here.

The breakfast was also a great buffet. As expected, it was a typical Geaman style breakfast and it was good.
