Rothenburg Christmas Market
On December 28th, Rothenburg Christmas Market started in the old town.

The Marktplaz was crowded with people who came to see the opening ceremony for the 2008 Christmas Market.

Every year Christmas Markets were held throughout Germany from the end of November through December 24th. The Rothenburg Christmas Market is very small but it's well-known because of its location in a quaint medieval town!

Merry atmosphere was all around and it was like a fairyland.

Gluehwein(Mulled wine)
"Gluehwein" is made of red wine and spices and it is typically served hot. It is a traditional drink during winter, especially around Christmas.
It took me out of the cold and it made me feel cheerful. One thing I should note was that some Guluewein were quite strong because of its ingredient, rum. If you get drunk easily, be careful not to drink to much!

Gluehwein 3.5 Euro (including 1.5 Euro deposit)

right: If you return your mug, you can receive 1.5 Euro refund. But the mug's design differed from market to market, I thought that collecting the mugs was very interesting.

I got a German sausage for dinner from a food stall. Usually I thought that the combination of beer and sausage was really nice, but unfortunatly, there wasn't any beer stand....

Sausage with a bread 3 Euro
