Wombat's
I stayed at Wombat's, which was a budget hostel close to the Munich Hauptbahnhof in the city center. It was just a 2-minute walk away from the station. By the way, Hauptbahnhof means the main station.

It was a newly made hostel and everything was very clean. As its name suggested, the hostel's character was "wombat"!

I stayed in a female shared room for 5 nights. As you can see, the room was very simple and there were only three double bunks. However, there was a private bathroom and I could stay comfortably. After all, the most important points were that the room rate was unbelievably reasonable. It was about 15 euro per person per night!
1 night per adult per person: 15 euro/1950 yen
curreny exchange rates(08/11/14) 1 euro=125.62yen

There was a bar at the hostel and it was always filled with people at night. It was a noisy place with loud music and it was hard to stay for a long time. It was the bar for young people.

Breakfast was served in the bar every morning. It wasn't included in the price and it cost 3.5 euro. It was a buffet-style breakfast and there were several types of German bread, ham, chees, etc.... Lots of different types of ham were served and it was very German. By the way, after this hostel wherever I stayed in Germany, breakfast was always the same as this. I'd been eating breakfast like this every day for 3 weeks and in all honesty, I was sick and tired of it!!
