kaiserburg(Imperial Castle)
The castle was damaged in the World WarII but it was reconstructed. Today, it is one of the main landmarks in Nurenberg.

The castle on the top of the hill gives great views of Nuernberg.

You can walk around the castle ground for free, when you pay for a guided tour it takes you into the buildings and towers.

The view of the castle from the old town was wonderful so I was curious about the back of the castle. ...But the back of the castle was just under repair and it made me sad....

I wandered around looking for a restaurant and I found an interesting sign. It looked like a witch flying on a broomstick.

The building with the unique sign was a German restaurant.

Inside wasn't so spacious but there was a beer garden in front of the building. I think that it is a nice beer garden with a great view of the castle in summer.

The interior was decorated with lots of strange dolls. It reminded me of the most famous German book "Grimm Fairy Tales".

I ordered "Nuernberger Bratwurstknoedel" with beer. It was 3 potato dumplings with an aromatic stuffing of minced meat. The smell of the herbs was distinct. I liked it but I wondered some Japanese may hate it.
