As you walk around the Marienberg Fortress you can get lots of interesting views from varieties of different angles.
The building stands on the hill above the city and it is surrounded with a high wall. It is just like the fortress.
The Marienberg Fortress was a good place to look over the city of Werzburg!
The slope facing the river is very steep. If you fall out of the fence, I'm not sure if you'll be able to land safely!
Weinhaus zum Stachel
It was time for lunch and I entered a good reataurant. Wuerzburg is a popular tourist destination and there are plenty of bars and restaurants, so it was very easy to find.
Weinhaus zum Stachel is located in a small sideway in the heart of the city. The restaurant is one of the oldest local winehouses in Wuerzburg.
The restaurant was very smart and clean and it had a good service with a smile.

Wuerzburg is well known for its delicious white wine. I drank two different types of white wine with my lunch. I couldn't remember the last time I had drunk anything except beer during a meal!! It wasn't too bad to have lunch with white wine!
Sometimes, coffee makes me feel bad....especially coffee from coffee maker. After meal with a coffee it's sure enough, I got sick. I felt awfully sick and I couldn't move at my hotel. So I spent the whole afternoon at my hotel reading Japanese newspaper. But, I was not sure why, my small accommodation was filled with the smell of freshly coffee from the dining room and it was like torture....
I headed out in the evening. Christmas was near, everything was illuminated.
German sweets and huge bread in store windows were also interesting. Especially a glasses store was decorated with Japanese popular character "Hello Kitty" and it made me attractive.
The sunset view of the Marienberg Fortress was very beautiful and it was well- worth visit!
Today's dinner was a sushi packed box and fresh strawberry. It was my first day to give my liver a rest in a while.
