Hofbrauhaus Munich
When I drank chill beer shivering with cold at Viktualienmarket, I got to know a kind German. He took me to the most famous, Munich's largest and most packed tourist beer hall "Hofbrauhaus".

I heard that drinking beer at Hofbrauhaus is one of the major tourist attractions in Munich. And it is also said that Hofbrauhaus has been called the best and worst beer hall in the world because it is very touristy! The fact was that it was crowded with tourists and it wasn't a place to relax with beer. ...It was true, but it was OK! Because I was just a tourist!
There was a great party atmosphere and it was fully alive with tourists and locals. I really felt the excitement in the air! If you are a tourist and beer lover like me, Hofbrauhaus is a wonderful and worth to visit!

A band of men also dressed in traditional Bayern costume played lively German folk music. I heard that it was a German drinking song! The music also added a traditional mood to the atmosphere.

Hofbrauhaus is well-known for its enormous beer jug and beer is served in giant one liter jugs called "Mass". If you want to try several types of beer, the "Mass" beer is too big and please order beer carefully! Of course, you can order a smaller glass of beer(0.5L).
We drank a traditional "Hofbrau Original", maybe it was a helles beer, and Weissbier. I really loved "Hofbrau Original". As you can see, we ordered a smaller glass of beer(0.5L)!
