Unions-Braeu Haidhausen
Was also one of the popular local beer halls and it was near Max-weber Platz station. One morning, I took a subway and I headed for the beer hall. The station had several exits to the ground and one of the exits was right in front of the beer hall. If you were lucky, you got the nearest exit!
I had a seat by the window on the first floor. It was a cozy restaurant and it had a nice atmosphere with a good selection of food.

Its beer was kind of thick and it tasted a little bit spicy. It was a nice beer.
One of the famous Munich specialties is Weisswurst(white sausage). Because of its perishability, it used to be served until noon in the days before fridges. Even today, most of restaurants still served it only in the morning. In short, white sausage is served for breakfast!
left: It was served in the traditional way....
center: What a surprise! White sausage was heated in close to boiling water!
right: It was made with minced veal and pork, and it was seasoned with some spices. It is commonly served with a special sweet mustard. It wasn't heavy and oily and it had almost the same texture as ordinary fish sausage. There was no better way to start a day in Germany than in a beer restaurant with white sausages, pretzels and nice beer! It was the most memorable and delicious breakfast during my German trip.
Hofbrauhaus Munich
After enjoying traditional German white sausages, I went back to my hostel. I met a young Asian girl in my room. She was Maggie and she was a tourist from Hong Kong. Because I hadn't got enough beer in that morning, I went out for beer with her.
left: We went to Hofbrauhaus. I ordered Hofbraeu Original but Maggie ordered Coca Mix! It was a bit of a surprise for me! Munich was the most popular beer city in Germany and here was the most well-known beer hall for its wonderful beer. Why did she order such a funny drink!!

Hofbraeu Dunkel--- 1L / 6.9 euro
Hofbraeu Original--- 1L / 6.9 euro
Muenchner Weisse--- 0.5L / 3.65 euro
Maggie was very cheerful and she was a person with a great smile!!
Hofbrauhaus has a huge hall with long wooden tables and benches and it has more rooms upstairs. One of the rooms is a vast hall and a dinner show is held there every nignt. You can enjoy a buffet-style dinner with a German traditional entertainment. It sounds like a real touristy place!
