The Heidelberg Castle stood on the hill above the city.
To my surprise, I met Kan-san and Kim-san at Heidelberg Castle again after saying goodbye this morning in Munich.
left: I met a middle age Korean at the same location. On my trip to Germany I met many Korean tourists.
The Heidelberg Castle is one of the most famous castle ruins in Germany. Some part of the castle has been destroyed from the past and many parts of the castle has been preserved in its condition.
The garden entrance is free of charge, but you have to pay to go inside the courtyard. Here is the courtyard and around it, historical buildings were built.
You can walk around the courtyard with a Simple Admission Ticket(3 euro). I highly recommend that you visit big wine barrel, too. It was the largest wine barrel in the world and it was built in 1751. It was 7 meters high and 8.5 meters long and I heard that it could hold about 220,000 liters of wine!! However I'm not sure if it can still use to hold wine at present with the same original capacity.
I walked around the castle and finally I found the same compositions as the scenes from the comic "Monster". Compare the pictures!
How depressing!
I came all the way here from Japan but everything that I wanted to take pictures was under repair!!
