When I took a closer look on the Christmas trees in the Marktplaz in the daytime, they were decorated with handcrafted ornaments. They were probably made by local kids.
The white building, which was a part of the city hall, has a tower and it is a popular attraction in Rothenburg.
When you intend to climb the tower, don't miss the entrance. The entrance is inside of the yellow building next to the white one, the other part of the city hall.
As I climed up the stairs inside the tower it got narrower and narrower, on the upper level it's one-way only. You have to pay to get to the viewing deck on the upper last storey. To reach the viewing deck, you need to climb up the ladder only!

People on the ground looked like ants! The viewing deck was very narrow and the floor was steel wire. I was so terrified my knees were shaking!
The best view of Rothenburg! The viewing deck offered a stunning views in all directions of the medieval town and the surrounding countryside. I thought that it looks almost the same as hundreds of years ago.
A climb to the tower is a must-do experience, while in Rothenburg!
