Klosterbraeu
After wandering for more than an hour, I finally arrived at my destination.

Klosterbraew is an old established brewery. It was founded in 1533 and it is well-known brewery in Bamberg.

The dark beer was sooo delicious and the food was nice! It was well worth a visit all the way from Japan! I hope one day I can visit there again!!

Bamberg's Cathedral
I walked away the brewery with feeling satisfied and I went sightseeing around the old town because I needed to make a room for next beer.
First, I walked up to the hill overlooking the twon. There was a wonderful cathedral dating back to the 11th century. It is the most important building of Bamberg and its construction began in 1004 and ended in the 13th century. The cathedral was a huge beautiful building with four spires but it was too huge to take the whole view.

Alte Hofhaltung(Old Palace)

Neue Residenz(New Residence)
Is a beautiful Baroque Palace of Bamberg. Unfortunatelly, a part of the building was under repair....The romantic French rose garden in the courtyard is well-known. But it was the wrong time of the year for visiting there. There were just stems....

View from the rose garden. The weather was really bad. If the weather is good, you will get great historical views of Bamberg!

My next destination was the brewery "Schlenkerla". This time, all information about the brewery was its name and the address "Dominikaner street in the old town". There were plenty of little alleys and it makes me lost easily!
